See below for memories from Dover Day 2005

The Dover Community came together in September 2005 for a day of rides, games, and a 40 by 100-foot tent featuring Dover businesses and non-profit organizations.
10 local fire departments took part in J.H. Ketcham's third annual extrications competition. The competition squared the departments off against each other in fireman drills, such as a car-cutting extraction competition with the Jaws of Life.
Aside from the fun and games and celebration, visitors were able to purchase food prepared by J.H. Ketcham's grill volunteers and local eateries.
The day started at 9 a.m. and ended at dark, with a fireworks display organized by Dover Town Board member Richard Hawthorne.
